A new Equitan's patent
Reacting to client's thoughts concerning efficient functioning of vibration staking machinery, a unique method of measuring this has been devised by Equitan.
Briefly, this is based on a plastic material sheet that, once deformed, retains its new shape
and dimensions.
This sheet with known dimensions is fed through the staking machines where it changes shape and dimensions. When comparing the deformed sheet with its original form and dimensions it is possible to assess the efficacy and functioning of the staker.
A patent application protecting the system was applied for and, we have learned, granted without delay.
• introduce a Staking Tester Folypel sheet into the staking machines • submit the Folypel Staking Tester to the action of the staking machines • measure the final dimensions of the Folypel Staking Tester after staking • compare said final dimensions with initial dimensions of the Folypel Staking Tester by difference and take note on the small yellow label

QSU4 New pneumatic stamping device
QSU 4 is the new Equitan manual operated pneumatic stamping device to mark raw, limed and wet- blue hides up to 8 digits.
Digits are made with a special hardened steel and usually we supply the device complete with one series of number 0-9 - Alphabets are optionals.
The device is supplied with a specific balancer to compensate the weight during the stamping operation.
This is a new improved version, heavy duty and all made by stainless steel. Double shaft and more user-friendley pneumatic system.
